The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig

In this wonderful book, the traditional story of the Three Little Pigs gets twisted around.  The wolves are good, the pig is big and bad and the houses are made of brick, concrete block and armor plates.  Children and adults will enjoy the cleverness of the pig, who gets creative when huffing and puffing doesn’t bring down the house.  They will also enjoy the image of the wolves playing croquet and hopscotch!   This book is written by Eugene Trivazas and illustrated by Helen Oxenbury.   Fountas and Pinnell level N.
